Finally - a real, LIVE web site!

Wow.  I'm thrilled [and relieved] to have the web site up and running, and to see (thank you, Google Analytics) that lots of folks are visiting.  Woo hoo!  I have years of amazing native bee info stored on my Mac, and I can't wait to share it.  I plan to add stuff frequently and, once the Orchard Mason Bees start nesting in March/April, I'll be taking lots more photos and videos that I'll be able to upload.  So make sure you keep checking back!

The only bummer of the web site is that it literally 'launched' [I've learned lots of this web site jargon over the past year :-]  on the day my husband and I left for a two-week dream vacation to Big Sky/Yellowstone National Park. (Think: no cell phone reception, no internet access, no TV's and no phones in the rooms.)  I'm actually writing this from Big Sky, Montana right now, but tomorrow we go incommunicado for a week.  So that's why I took the advice of my dear friend and the creator of this web site, Ann Pennington, and decided to wait till we return to the east coast in mid-February to activate the online shopping cart.  But after that, let the fun begin!  Can't wait to share my passion for our native bees with anyone who wants to listen, learn and help revive our native bee populations.  After all, they were here first!
